WaveQ Hires Director of Microsoft AX Practice
PORTLAND OR – November 4, 2010. WaveQ, Inc., a technology, marketing and creative services consultancy, welcomes Jay Omdahl as Director of Microsoft AX Practice. Jay will lead a team of technology experts that will develop best in class ERP solutions for WaveQ’s clients. His leadership brings a holistic ERP systems approach to WaveQ.
Jay has over 17 years of experience helping companies evaluate, select and implement ERP, CRM, Supply Chain and Human Resource Systems. He began his work with Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta) in 2001. He has worked with customers in the following industries: life sciences, high-tech, software, industrial equipment, manufacturing, supply chain management, finance and accounting as well as professional service and non-profit organizations. Jay has worked with over 100 customers and prospects in architecting ERP designs and solutions globally.
Most recently, Jay has worked as an independent Dynamics AX Architect and Project Manager helping to implement ERP systems for the following companies: Flow International, Visible Changes, Cmedia, Seagull Scientific (Author of BarTender Software), The Greenbrier Companies, Umbra Canstenetti (Boeing supplier), GAVI Fund, Adams Respiratory (maker of Mucinex) and Advent Solar. As a Technology Consultant Jay has worked with Northwest enterprises including Pacificorp, :Motorola, Nike, and Nordstrom. In addition to Dynamics AX, Jay has worked with SAP where he implemented modules and designed multiple integrations using various technologies.
Serving in executive leadership, Jay gained software implementation expertise as an Intel employee managing integrated circuit production (Pentium™ Chip) and hardware manufacturing systems. He continued this leadership as a Director of IT at Egghead.com and Vice President of Operations for a local manufacturing and distribution company.
