WaveQ Speaks on Office 365 at InnoTech
PORTLAND, OR – April 8, 2011. WaveQ CEO David Allen and Ben Tallman, Vice President, Delivery, are speaking at InnoTech Oregon on April 21, 2011 at 9:00 am. Their presentation, “Getting to the Cloud: Learn how WaveQ delivers Office 365 on your terms,” is part of the Microsoft Technology Summit. Their talk revolves around the issue of how companies needing business services can find the right solutions, even as they are still recovering from belt tightening policies resulting from the economic climate.
David Allen will present the macro picture of the business drivers and the need for on demand IT services. Companies can no longer afford to invest in expensive on premises IT infrastructure tied to a five-year plan. Today, the solution is to pay per seat for services that are outsourced to the cloud. Forward-thinking companies need more dynamic, scalable, and ultimately more predictable business services to compete in today’s market. WaveQ will share how Microsoft’s Office 365 enables these goals when Ben Tallman shows a demonstration of Office 365 Beta. In addition, attendees will learn about a pre-release evaluation opportunity offered by WaveQ and Microsoft.
The eighth annual InnoTech Oregon is a one-day show being held at the Oregon Convention Center, and expects over 1,500 business and technology professionals to attend. Sponsored by Software Association of Oregon, Microsoft, Fuse, and Comcast to name a few, InnoTech organizers collaborated with the tech community to offer a number of events. These include the NW CIO Summit, IT Executives of the Year Awards, and sessions on cloud computing, virtualization, eMarketing, mobile computing, and software development.
